I recently made a big purchase: a Mac Book Pro with all the bells and whistles. This was a serious purchase decision, most obviously because Apple computers are not cheap. The major reason why I chose the Mac Book Pro is for the multi-media capabilities, most specifically video editing. I’ve had limited success with video editing on Windows, but I largely found the programs (e.g., Adobe Premiere) not very intuitive and overly complex. After I tested out iMovie and Final Cut Pro on Mac, I found the experience much more intuitive and easy to use.
And with that, I am now the proud owner of a new Mac Book Pro. In typical geek fashion, I have captured the big unboxing on video. Check it out for the sake of geek love.

Woohoo! Congrats on your shiny new toy.
I’m secretly in love with the folks who design packaging at Apple.
Thanks, sweetie. I think this makes me a true geek in two ways: I own a Mac Book Pro and I made a boring unboxing video.
